Every wedding blog I write seems to have the same sentiment, but for such a good reason. Being trusted with documenting the happiest day of a couple’s life is something that I will never take for granted. So it’s safe to say that photographing Bailey and Gabe’s modern Fargo wedding at Brewhalla was just as special and memorable as the rest. The modern industrial atmosphere of the venue paired with bold pops of color made for such a fun twist on a “traditional” wedding day.

Baylee and Gabe’s Fargo wedding day began with getting ready separately. It’s always a warm welcome when the bride’s getting ready room has some beautiful natural light. And let me tell you — I had the best time capturing the moments that Baylee spent getting ready while an abundance of natural light poured through the window. While Baylee’s mom helped with finishing touches in the bridal suite, Gabe was busy playing Mario Kart in the groom’s room. With the guys occupied in the groom’s den, I snagged all the ladies for some fun bridesmaids portraits throughout the venue. As much as I loved the dramatic black and white throughout the venue, it was so much fun finding all the pops of hot pink — perfect for some fun ladies’ portraits.
Once we wrapped up with the ladies, Baylee and Gabe shared a first look and private vows out on the patio. The wind on their wedding day was crazy, so we didn’t spend much time outside before finding solace back inside the venue. We enjoyed taking bridal portraits in various spots throughout the venue before knocking out bridal party portraits. Despite the whipping winds, we were able to breeze right through them (pun intended 😉). Baylee and Gabe’s crews were so full of energy, and just happy to celebrate the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs.

Before too long, Baylee and Gabe’s wedding ceremony began. In front of a beautiful display of fresh florals, this sweet couple said “I do” among their friends and family. The party then kicked off in full swing with cocktail hour and the newlyweds changing into some fun sneakers. Guests dined on delicious food catered by the Chef’s Table and desserts from Nichole’s Fine Pastry & Café. The rest of the night was spent on the dance floor. It was the perfect way to conclude Baylee and Gabe’s modern Fargo wedding at Brewhalla.
